Golden Lab saves family from Fire

Labrador Retreivers are smart dogs. They are gentle and kind spirited. And they are usually trainable and obedient. Good dogs for a family with kids. I loved the two my family had in times previous, one enough that my teacher thought my Grandfather had died when Tiger went to his untimely end. They are the kind of dog that you can't help but like and that you trust and who trust you. And they have big hearts.

Here's a story of a couple, a chimney fire from creosote buildup, and their 3 year old Lab who helped save the day.

A Passion For Pizza

This guy is serious about his pizza. The pictures of the pizzas are mouth watering and now I'm craving a good one. The instructions for production (especially the electric oven mod) are even more interesting, but not for the faint of heart.

Civil Servants Help Save A Life

8 snowplow drivers and their rigs go beyond the call of duty to help a patient cross snow-closed roads to reach a hospital to get a liver transplant he'd been waiting on for a year and only got very short notice of.

It isn't every day you can say 'Well done!' to civil servants, but these guys deserve it and then some.
